Chelsea Art Fair Returns This Fall with Expanded Two-Day Edition
November 15–16, 2025

(NEW YORK, NY — October 29, 2025) — Following its successful debut in 2024, Platform and The Hotel Chelsea are pleased to announce that the second edition of the Chelsea Art Fair will take place this November 15–16. Celebrated last year for its focus, the fair will once again spotlight five select galleries—four of them returning participants—for an expanded two-day event. Exhibiting this year are 56 Henry (New York), CASTLE (Los Angeles), Lomex (New York), Magenta Plains (New York) and Ramiken (New York), accompanied by a special presentation of an archival painting by Peter Nadin in collaboration with Off Paradise.
The fair will open at The Hotel Chelsea on Saturday, November 15 with an invitation only VIP preview, followed by a public day on Sunday, November 16. Tickets for the public day are free and available by signing up through the following link.
In keeping with last year’s model, there are no upfront costs for participating galleries, and the Chelsea Art Fair aims to create a welcoming environment for both exhibitors and attendees with a low barrier to entry for all. With this year’s expansion to two days, the aim is not only to increase attendance but also to create an experience that encourages meaningful engagement with the galleries and the artworks they are presenting.
This year’s fair follows Platform’s recent acquisition by Basic.Space, a curated IRL-to-URL shopping destination for design, art and fashion.
“It was clear from how much people loved last year’s fair that we had to bring it back and expand it to two days. It’s somewhere where people can discover great art in a focused, intimate setting, which is what Platform is all about,” says Jesse Lee, Founder of Basic.Space. “We can’t wait to continue our partnership with The Hotel Chelsea and all the participating galleries for a successful year two.”
Highlights include 56 Henry’s presentation of new paintings by French artist Pierre Bellot; Magenta Plains’ presentation of paintings by American artists Bill Saylor and Janis Provisor; and Ramiken’s showcase of works from the estate of Greek artist Grigoris Semitecolo, which follows the recent opening of its new gallery in Greece. The fair is pleased to present The Diver (1993) by Peter Nadin for the first time in more than 30 years in partnership with Off Paradise.
“I'm delighted that the Chelsea Art Fair is back for a second edition,” says Ellie Rines of 56 Henry. “It's the perfect New York art fair and in one of the best places in the whole city—possibly the world. It was such a hit last year that the artists are asking us to be in the booth instead of the other way around. We cannot wait for another Platform collaboration.”
